Development Accountant

Job Title: Development Accountant
Location: Pasadena, CA

Job Summary:
The Development Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and applying accounting procedures to record and analyze construction project costs, review change orders, and process construction draws. In addition, this individual will be responsible for preparing development entity financial reporting for monthly review with project managers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; Master’s Degree preferred; minimum of 5 years of project accounting experience at a developer is required; experience in Construction Accounting a plus. Experience and knowledge of the general construction industry and construction accounting software such as Sage 300/Timberline are also a plus. The candidate should also possess numbers aptitude and the ability to quickly identify exceptions and out of budget tracking. Key attributes also include team player, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Managing Director, Acquisitions

Job Title: Managing Director, Acquisitions
Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Summary:
The Managing Director, Acquisitions is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition cycle from sourcing investment opportunities to closing the transactions as well as assessing project performance during the development phase. He/she must have a strong local acquisition network and be a results-driven leader who will execute against the established real estate strategy, with due diligence, including strategic market analysis. The successful candidate must also be adept at all financial aspects of acquisition transactions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Real Estate; Master’s Degree preferred; minimum 10-15 years of experience in multifamily, condo, or office underwriting and acquisitions with a proven track record of closing deals in an institutional environment. The candidate should demonstrate a track record of sourcing both off-market transactions, on-market deals and JVA deals with developers/sponsors; have a strong understanding of real estate markets for different asset type/sectors; have a strong existing network among target market owners, developers, and brokers, as well as a strong working knowledge of real estate investment and real estate principles.

Director/Executive Director of Acquisitions

Job Title: Director/Executive Director of Acquisitions
Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary:
The Director/Executive Director of Acquisitions is responsible for all aspects of the acquisition cycle from sourcing investment opportunities to closing the transactions. He/she must be a results-driven leader who will execute against the established real estate strategy, conducting due diligence activities, including strategic market analysis. The candidate must be adept at all financial aspects of acquisition transactions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Real Estate; Master’s Degree preferred; Minimum 10 years of experience in multifamily and/or office underwriting and acquisitions; Bilingual Mandarin preferred;Demonstrated track record of sourcing off-market transactions; Strong understanding of real estate markets for different access type; Strong existing network among target market owners and brokers; Strong working knowledge of real estate investment and real estate principles; Advanced Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Argus, Word, PowerPoint).

Acquisition Associate/Analyst

Job Title: Acquisition Associate/Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX

Job Summary:
The Acquisition Associate/Analyst will have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the real estate investment and acquisition processes. This position will be responsible for evaluating potential investment opportunities including modeling cash flows, assessing markets and the competitive landscape, conducting due diligence activities, analyzing investment returns, and creating executive committee memos and otherwise assisting in the communication of financial acquisitions and disposition strategy.

Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or related field; Master’s Degree preferred; minimum of 2-5 years of experience in real estate investment/acquisition or related field; Bilingual Mandarin preferred; Real estate finance/accounting/economic fundamentals; Computer applications including Argus & MS Office with specific advanced expertise in MS-Excel - must be able to build complex cash flow models across various asset types/financing scenarios from scratch; Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and self-direction; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proven business and financial acumen.
